Below is a more in-depth description of the Videoplaza system.

What is annotated video?
Videoplaza Web TV allows you to create systems in which audio-video information is presented synchronously with graphical and textual information that explore in more depth and detail the speaker's video or spoken content.
The annotated video comprises three sections:
1) a player section (it can contain video and/or audio content)
2) a graphical or textual information section (for example: Powerpoint presentation slides, text, photographs or graphics)
3) a section with an index of the video's chapters.
Clicking on a line in the list of contents takes you to the relative point in the video and, at the same time, the linked frame changes according to the point in the video. Dividing the video into chapters allows the WebTV user to “watch, listen to or read” the entire video or view single chapters of the multimedia content as and when required.

The annotated video is a more enriched communication system than traditional video allowing you to reach out to users all over the world and convey any type of message in an intuitive and user-friendly manner.
For instance, an annotated video makes it much easier to give instructions on how to maintain and repair a machine or describe similar technical procedures.

Single-Sign-On interfacing: Videoplaza enables integration with other computer systems via the special Single-Sign-On interface.
In practice, this system allows the user to retain the credentials on the Web TV platform he has acquired on other computer systems (for example on the company portal) without need for additional login procedures and all in a secure and protected way.
The Single-Sign-On system therefore allows two systems to intercommunicate (for example, the institutional website and the company's Web TV) so requires a single login procedure. This means the user can switch from one system to another in a “transparent” way.
This system offers many benefits:
The Editorial Model offers you a selection of banners for your Web TV.
For each banner you can decide its very own:
1) position on the page
2) expiry date (that is, when the banner ad will be removed from the Web TV)
3) maximum number of clicks allowed (for example, after a thousand clicks, the banner ad will no longer be displayed).
4) maximum times viewed: the maximum number of “exposures”. If this number is exceeded, the banner ad will no longer appear on the Web TV.
5) category of videos to which it is linked. In this way you can target the banner according to the user's choice of video.
6) time band, day of the week and month in which it is shown.
Moreover, you can check the number of times each banner has been viewed and how many times web users have clicked on it.
